By creating an account or using NearWize ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
NearWize is a discovery platform that connects customers with local service professionals (plumbers, electricians, tutors, and others). We facilitate introductions and service requests; we are not a party to any service agreement between customers and professionals, and we do not employ the professionals listed on the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are arranging services involving minors (e.g., tutoring), you are responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You must provide a valid phone number and accurate information. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without authorisation.
Professionals are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, including qualifications, location, and availability. NearWize does not independently verify all claims made by professionals. Customers should conduct their own due diligence before engaging a professional.
You may not: (a) use the Platform for unlawful purposes; (b) submit false reviews or manipulate ratings; (c) harass or abuse other users; (d) scrape or systematically collect data from the Platform; (e) impersonate another person or entity.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. NearWize reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms. Manipulation of reliability scores is grounds for account termination.
You can report users, requests, messages, and reviews that violate these terms, and you can block other users. Blocking prevents further requests and messaging between you and the blocked user. NearWize reviews reports and may take action, including suspending accounts that violate these terms.
The Platform is provided "as is." NearWize does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by professionals. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NearWize shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including disputes between customers and professionals.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
